Beatriz, of Austrian-Hungarian origin,
was born in Madrid and holds a BA (Hons) in European Business Administration
from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) and Fachhochschule Reutlingen.
She has worked for a chocolate company (later acquired by Nestlé)
in Vienna, Hypovereinsbank in New York and Repsol in Madrid. She also
worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions department (M&A) of ING
Barings – now ING Investment Banking – for seven years,
first based in Frankfurt (three years), then in London (three years)
and in Madrid (one year). At ING she worked on a number of cross-border
M&A deals involving international companies such as Mannesmann,
RWE, RAG, SAir, NH Hoteles, Thyssen Krupp, Imperial Holdings (S. Africa),
as well as working for the Hungarian Government. |
